I hope you are doing well in the ministry . We also are doing well by His grace and provision.
Report of Water Festival Outreach Evangelism Campaign
For the Buddhist Burmese have their own New Year which annually begins at 12-16 of April, in which they believe to be freed from the past sins is to be washed by he water.
However this is in some cases practiced in the evil way as we see many young people are drunk and danced on the street, some young ladies are not wearing properly and it was a bad influenced for the community.
So every year we take this as a good opportunity to take away our young people boys and girls from the church to outside the city, asking them to bring their friends with them so that we can have some unbelievers also joining our campaign.
This year we have nearly 300 people coming together and divided into three groups. The children, the young group and the adults. For me as the LORD gave me some biblical principles on how to be a strong believer in the word of God and be matured in our Christian faith. I taught the adults in day time so that they will know the truth and the truth shall set them free. I also share the gospel with those new comers. There were 22 people who believe and confessed Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior. Some of them speak in other tongue also.
Last year we held baptism also but this time we decide not to baptize them immediately. The Pastors will teach at their churches about baptism and baptize them when they know about it’s meanings.
We will continue to seek the LORD for the opportunity of sharing the Gospel to our neighbors and un-believing friends . Now we have more freedom than the last years. So we are praying and preparing for the greater harvest in this end time. The LORD stands with us and we believe that the revival of the nation will begin soon.
Thank you very much for your prayers and support that the LORD is bringing more souls into His Kingdom. We are challenged to train these people, disciple them with the word of God until they become mature in words and deeds.
